Andrea Guida
I am an integrative psychologist with a Postgraduate degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for Children and Young People at UCL. I have also completed a Postgraduate degree in Infant Mental Health. I am a member of the BABCP and of the British Psychological Society and adheres to their ethical framework.
I have helped patients to learn coping mechanisms to deal with their emotional difficulties by understanding why they are having difficulties, recognizing their feelings, thoughts and behaviours and to explore together problem-solving techniques for them to acquire the ability to use their own thinking resources to heal.

Philosophy on counselling and psychotherapy
I believe human beings are bio psychosocial, which means a combination of our genes, our psychological state and our environment. I work holistically, taking into account the cognitive, emotional and physical components and the environment.
Sometimes, individuals experience difficult situations when dealing with life´s ever present adversities, which can generate pain and suffering. I firmly believe that those circumstances can be transformed into self-discovery and personal growth, with motivation and appropriate guidance.
I provide a safe space for patients to express their feelings, play and learn different coping strategies and behaviours to deal with new challenges.
