I ensure that any information, contents of our discussions, and materials we work on, will be kept confidential between you and me.

I am legally obliged to share information from our sessions in the following exceptional circumstances: 

• If I there is a court order asking for information 
• You or your child or others are at high risk or life-threatening situations 
• You or your child or a vulnerable adult are at risk of abuse or harm. 
• There is an indication that there is a risk of harm to others. 
• References to breaking the law

Personal data: 

• “Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.” (ICO)

1. Process data fairly, transparently, and according to the law. 
2. Obtain personal data only for specific purposes, relevant and not excessive. 
3. Not keep personal data for longer than necessary 
4. Process data in accordance to the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
5. Process data in a secure password protected computer. 

My aim is to safeguard my client’s privacy. Collecting information is necessary, I collect only the necessary information for a specific amount of time. This information will be kept secure, confidential and anonymous. I follow strict security procedures to keep it confidential. 

Any personal information will not be disclosed unless I am required by law.
